Vinyasa Flow – A style of yoga based on the fluid movement between various asanas (postures), connecting them through breathing rhythms. Each class is unique and varies from the last, designed with a different number and order of asanas, which will keep you on your toes. Improve your centre of balance, core strength and posture. This is a full one and a half hour intensive workout for the intermediate to advanced student.
Ashtanga Yoga – An energetic yoga that provides stamina, flexibility and strength. Ashtanga yoga consists of performing specific sequences of various poses, which are carried out in a continuous and flowing way. Each inhalation and exhalation is matched with a movement, leading the student between poses. Ideal for those seeking a demanding, intense and deeply purifying practice.
Hatha yoga – combines physical poses, breathing exercises and meditation. It is an energetic workout whilst relaxing at the same time, seeking a balance between flexibility and strength. It includes both on floor and standing poses. The word Hatha comes from Ha which means sun and Tha which means moon. The goal for the practicante is to find the perfect equilibrium of energies.
Yoga & Roll – A fusion of yoga & dance that connects various yoga sequences in a choreographic style. In this coming together of yoga, music and dance, the body breathes and the energy flows throughout. Based on dynamic yoga we will flow to the rhythm of rock, soul, blues and also appreciate the moments of silence. It’s a unique way to discover yoga.
Zero Gravity – The centre is fully equipped for zero gravity (aka aerial yoga) with special hammocks which support the feet and hands. There are many unique poses that can be practiced, that tone the body and help improve muscle definition by focusing on your body’s core. The clases are limited to 16 people, so make sure you book in advance. Zero gravity is great fun as well as being a great workout. Come along for a fly.
